PASSION AND RESPECT
FOR THE CULTURE OF KIZOMBA
All while always remembering the source. We have learned and trained from some of the top instructors in the world and look forward to learning even more as our journey continues.
Kizomba has changed our lives for the better. Not only do we dance religiously, but many of our closest friends are also dancers.
By no means are we suggesting that this will happen to everyone. But dancing kizomba has impacted our lives and connections on and off the dance floor.
Final thought: We focus our work to respect kizomba (and all the dances that fall under the umbrella) and the culture which gave birth to this gift.
We do not infuse brazilian zouk, bachata, salsa, or other dance styles into our teaching, nor will you find those music styles at our events. Although we can appreciate those art forms(and love many of them in their own right), we prefer to maintain the integrity and culture of the art form as we discovered it, while adding our personal style and expression.
